The Real South East

The Real South East was created by photographer Ed Thompson with the intention of giving inspiration, support and voice to other South-East based photographers. Good photography doesn't have to be exotic, the South-East of England has been photographed by some of the greatest photographers in the world. This listing aims to show the diverse individual vision that photographers have used to depict the region and its people.

GRADUATE PHOTOGRAPHY ONLINE 2009 - V&A CURATOR'S SELECTIONS

Brendan's focus on an abstracted landscape, in which he uses a close-up point of view results in beautiful compositions. He asks us to see our environment afresh and gives us a new perspective on our relationship with our surroundings.

Ashley Givens, Assistant Curator of Photographs at the Victoria and Albert Museum.
